POSITION TITLE: IT Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology

BASIC FUNCTION: The Computer Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting EDI processing and overall data flow. As IT reports to Finance, Excel worksheet and data mining functions are an important part of this position as well as knowledge of Visual Basic. In addition, the candidate will provide technical computer assistance to support office and warehouse operations; installation of new PCs, printers and other peripherals as needed; provides data to management; and periodically functions as back-up to the Director of Information Technology.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Support processing of EDI inbound and outbound transaction sets.
2. Develop and maintain UCC-128 barcoding formats and equipment.
3. Perform daily transactions into ERP computer system (NetSuite).
4. Back up Network Administrator as needed.
5. Provide hardware technical support to PC and peripheral users either via phone or face-to-face.
6. New installation set-ups, including print routing, testing and ensuring all required programs are functional for the end-user.
7. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Functions)
2. Intermediate Microsoft Access (Tables, Queries, Reports)
3. Intermediate knowledge of Visual Basic
4. PC Hardware and Software Support including installation. Windows operating systems (XP, Vista & SBS 2003) and Office 2003/2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
5. Basic Networking Knowledge.
6. Basic understanding of distribution operations process flow.
7. Associates degree or higher is preferred. Ability to quickly learn computer applications.
8. Above average communication skills (both verbal and written).
9. Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
10. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
11. Communicates with all internal employees, vendors and technicians.
