RANGE OF PAY: $40,000 - $45,000 based on education and experience
WORK HOURS: 8 hours/260 days

SUMMARY:
Position available to manage the Performing & Visual Arts Center. Position will plan, develop, and implement fee based programs, classes and activities, performances and special events. Develop tour/performance packages and work with other organizations to create opportunities. Manage budget and meet revenue through programs, entrances fees, concessions and rentals. Manage staff and volunteers. Also responsible for developing and implementing marketing plan for center. Establish contacts with performing arts groups, arts professionals and schools, civic organizations and other sources of volunteers. Requires a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends. Operates audiovisual, sound reproducing equipment, and lighting systems to provide or complement educational or public service programs offered by CSD158 and outside groups.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in theater, leisure service or related field, and 3 years directly related work experience, which must include program and facility management and supervisory experience.
