This one time gig can turn into more frequent engagement. We are looking for upbeat house, Top 40 with good selection of classics that would fit our New Years Party. Please no HipHop, deep house or any other type of very specific genre. We need a DJ that can play to a mixed crowd of all ages, music can�t be offensive or dull. This will be a 100+ ppl event from 10pm to 4am. Must be over 21 years old and have prior club experience (party DJ�s will also be considered). Crystal B. Designs is having a NYE Fashion Show at Club Capital and is looking for 10 models to participate in the show! The Club is located at 4244 North Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL 60641, and the number is 773-685-1194. If you are interested in participating in this show please come to one of the three casting calls, located at the club, on either Saturday, December 12 or Saturday December 19, at 8pm on each day!
Each model call will last for one hour, 8pm-9pm!

Models interested should be able to walk the catwalk, and should be an industry size 12 (commercial size 8) with the measurements of:
Bust: 36"-38"
Waist: 26"-28"
Hips: 36"-38"
Hieght: 5'7" & up.

*Models underage are welcomed to tryout, as long as they have a parent along!

On Golden Pond Auditions, Next Week (LaGrange Park)

Auditions will be held from 7pm to 9pm on Dec 7th and 10th at the LaGrange Park Recreation Center, 1501 Barnsdale Road, LaGrange Park, Illinois, and from 7 to 9pm on Dec 8th at Plymouth Place Senior Living, located at 315 N LaGrange Road, LaGrange, IL.

Anyone auditioning on the 7th and 8th may be called back on the 10th.

Looking for the following roles to be cast:

Norman Thayer (prefer 60ish - 70ish, but will consider younger): Cantankerous and witty, showing early signs of senility, a retired professor who has a distant relationship with his daughter.

Ethel Thayer (prefer 50ish - 60ish, but will consider younger); Norman's best friend and loving mate, energetic and equally witty. The perfect "ying" to Norman's "Yang".

Chelsea Thayer (30ish - 40ish): Dry sense of humor like her father Norman, her athleticism and energy covers her insecurities. Very unsure and uncomfortable when around her father.

Billy Ray (13 - young looking 16yo): Teen son of Chelsea's fiance. Bright but a flippant kind of cockiness hides his awkwardness. Tossed between divorced parents.

Bill Ray (40ish -50ish); Chelsea's fiance. Smart and personable, yet it is learned that he is not a pushover.

Charlie (30ish - 40ish); The mailman of Golden Pond. Delivers mail by boat. Is a simple, friendly sole who has never lost his crush on Chelsea. Has a strage, funny laugh that covers up his nervousness.

All auditions will consist of cold readings from scripts and from the actual show script.

If cast, rehearsals will tentatively begin on the second week of January, and take place Tuesdays & Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons, until the final week(s) before performance. The show will be performed on weekends, beginning March 19th through the 28th.
