People with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis -- and their friends and families -- will be grateful for your efforts, and money raised will support Psoriasis Cure Now, a nonprofit group pushing for a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
Our nonprofit group, powered by volunteers, had 4 successful Psoriasis Walks in 2009 (pictures and info: www.psoriasiswalk.org). We are expanding the program to serve more people with psoriasis and promote awareness, so we can unlock more funding to find a cure.

Some are intimidated by the idea of speaking on the phone with a person who is thinking about suicide. The truth is that those who call us are simply people reaching out for help. Believe it or not, you might be able to offer that help.
Our agency seeks volunteers (from teens to seniors) for our hotline. Volunteers are trained in the classroom and in the lineroom to improve communication skills and become familiar with hotline procedures. We make sure that our paraprofessionals are well prepared before we invite them to take calls.
