Graphic/Web Designer
Systemtek Technologies, a leading web design firm in Chicago area, is seeking for a Graphic Designer/Web Designer to join our growing online marketing team. We're looking for a creative and talented designer with both strong skills web design as well as print designing, including but not limited to: website design/updates, web graphics, HTML, email design, flash design, forms/scripts. Ability to work well in a team environment is required.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for design of websites, web pages, banner advertising campaigns, Flash-based communications and email marketing campaigns
• Provide creative ideas, HTML roughs, client mock-ups and final designs on assignments
• Design templates and specifications for web sites to enhance the user experience and optimize for search engines
• Coordinate among cross functional areas to identify challenges, recommend and implement solutions
• Collaborate with internal front end web development team
• Assist with print production work on an as needed basis
Requirements:
• 2+ years of graphic/web design experience in a corporate/agency setting including significant Web Design responsibilities
• BFA or BA degree required with design focus
• Strong portfolio that exemplifies a broad range of web design knowledge and expertise
• Excellent organizational, communication, documentation and time management skills
• Ability to effectively manager simple to complex projects
• Extensive knowledge of Web browsers, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including, but not limited to Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and etc. Additional software experience also preferred.
