As the Accounting Clerk, you will support the Sr. Director of Finance with all Accounting and Billing needs. This is inclusive of accounts receivable and accounts payable on all levels, month end close processes, maintenance of the general ledger, invoicing, purchasing and general office support. You will also be expected to support the Sales team with any administrative functions.
Creating invoices in Quickbooks for our sales team
Collecting past due receivables
Applying customer payments in our accounting system and backend systems
Processing vendor invoices
Executing the Accounting Payables run
Credit card reconciliations
Daily G/L maintenance
Maintaining sales contact lists
Maintaining all sales collateral material
Assisting in the coordination of sales team schedule & travel arrangements for trade shows as needed
Support other Team Administrators (Office Manager & Customer Service) as needed
This role is expected to evolve over the next 12+ months
Minimum 2 years of accounting or billing experience
Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or a related discipline)
Experience with Google docs and MS-office tools, with intermediate Excel proficiency
Experience with Quickbooks
Ideal candidate is hyper organized and detail oriented
Salesforce experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
