A Cherubini-designed Hunter 27 with shoal-draft keel. We have sailed this boat for three years in Lake Michigan and made several improvements, however the inboard diesel, a Yanmar 1GM10 (9hhorsepower) needs a rebuild, (Crowley’s quotes this at $3-$4k), or the boat can be repowered. The boat and engine are at Crowley’s. Aside from the engine, the boat needs a new head.
In the past three years we have made these improvements/upgrades: new UK Sailmakers Genoa (150%, roller fuller), new running rigging, new rope clutches (everything is run back to the cockpit), new life lines and stanchions, new compass, new tiller, 2 new batteries, new mainsail cover, new ShipShape canvas winter cover, new teak handrails, companionway hatch and icebox cover, Raymarine i40 bi-data with transducer (the thru-hull transducer is installed, the instrument needs to be wired up). Summer storage at Crowley's is paid through October 15th, 2026.
