This is a pre-owned Vanson MK2 jacket in EXTREMELY good condition. This exact version is no longer being made but it is essentially identical to the current MK2 CSRX without the RAM air scoops which THIS jacket doesn't require due this one being FULLY PERFORATED. This jacket is a fully vented Vanson "ProPerf" model, meaning the torso, arms, shoulders, back, and internal shell liner is FULLY PERFORATED leather for cool summer riding. This jacket BREATHS in summer heat & humidity!
For crash protection the shoulders and elbow/forearms feature DOUBLE LAYER, competition weight leather. In addition, this jacket comes equipped with full CE-Rated competition spec armor in the shoulders, elbows and forearms. All armor is upgradable and fully replaceable so as new armor kits become available you can upgrade the jacket's protection! In addition this jacket's interior shell liner has attachments and an interior zipper compartment to accept optional Vanson CE-spec Back Protector armor kits for even more protection. And for ULTIMATE safety, this jacket is equipped with a 3-way zipper attachment system to accept Vanson pants, turning this sport jacket into a competition weight, 2-piece race suit. Vanson makes many different pants options from full leathers to mesh textile options allowing you to tailor your protection level and personal comfort to the activity at hand. Or you can just buy zippers direct from Vanson and use your EXISTING pants with this jacket.
On cooler morning this jacket can be a bit chilly so it does feature attachments to accept an optional full length thermal shell liner or STREAMLINER vest from Vanson. I just wore a light fleece in the mornings but the official Vanson thermal liners are high quality.
For a slim, non-bunch fit, this jacket is equipped with a fully adjustable heavy duty waist belt with expandable Lycra stretch panels at the sides for an adjustable fit. And for convenance & utility, this jacket possesses 2 fully zippered interior pockets to securely store wallet, keys, phone, and ID.
This jacket is CLEAN and FRESH. While I've owned this jacket for years, it's only been worn for the occasional Sunday ride bc my MAIN riding outfit is a full length, 2-piece, AeroStitch suit. Therefore even though I love this Vanson jacket, and it will EASILY LAST A LIFETIME of service for its next owner due to Vanson's superior craftsmanship and materials, I simply don't need it.
