My name is Sandro Miller. I am a world renowned photographer located in Chicago, Illinois. Outside of my notable commercial work, I take the most pride in my personal work. With a passion for learning and remembrance, I have traveled all over the world with the intention of capturing the unique beauty and emotions of humankind. Ranging from the streets of Cuba to the indigenous tribes of Papua New Guinea, I found my purpose within the eyes of others. To allow each of my sitters a chance to be seen, to be known, and to be loved.
This very purpose has brought me to my most recent body of work, I AM BEAUTIFUL. This project is about self love, empowerment, and the beauty of humankind. I am photographing 230 portraits of people from different genders, identities, lifestyles, and communities to reshape the narrative of curated beauty standards in society to be inclusive of all beauty from all people.
As we reach a very near end of this project, we are looking for more representation in the albinism community as we aim to present the beauty of humankind. We are now offering compensation for participation and would love to have you be a part of our project located in Chicago, IL. I truly believe this project will help to not only shift the way we think about beauty standards, but also will give each sitter an empowering experience of self- reclamation. With only one spot left, we are specifically seeking to cast an African American male, female, or other identifying people with Albinism.
Project Info: This is a Fine Art Photography project that is posed on a black box in the nude against a red background. Each portrait will be mended together in a grid of over 220 other portraits from our participants. Given that this project requires nudity, we require all participants to be over the age of 18 years old.
