Are you ready to build a career where science, problem-solving, and customer service come together? Landmark Pest Management is hiring three new Pest Control Technicians to protect homes, schools, restaurants, and businesses across Chicago and the suburbs.
No experience? No problem. We’ll train you from the ground up with 45 days of paid training—both hands-on and classroom-based.
What You’ll Do
Deliver exceptional customer service at every client interaction
Diagnose and treat pest issues with professionalism and expertise
Educate clients on prevention steps and long-term solutions
Manage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) treatment plans
Document product use in compliance with state regulations
Conduct walkthroughs and provide estimates
Safely drive and maintain a company vehicle stocked with supplies
Support peers and assist with training new staff
Stay current on licensing requirements and pest management techniques
Safely set and climb ladders, and work in varied outdoor conditions
Identify structural deficiencies contributing to pest problems
Recommend additional products and services when appropriate
Commit to lifelong learning to continually improve your expertise
Perform other projects as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: $24/hour
Paid overtime (time-and-a-half)

Schedule
Hours vary by team assignment. Typical schedule for the Commercial Team: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–2 p.m.
Requirements
Valid Illinois driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass insurance carrier’s driving record check
Ability to study ~75 pages of materials and pass the Illinois Department of Public Health licensing exam within 3 months (study materials provided)
Safe overnight parking for company vehicle
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 60 lbs
Safely set and climb ladders
Walk up to 7 miles per day, including uneven terrain and railroad tracks
Crouch, kneel, bend, and work under equipment
Tolerate outdoor conditions in both summer heat and winter cold
Experience and Education
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in any field (pest control experience not required)
Proficiency with email, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs
High School Diploma or GED
