Another fine classic from Topshelfmopars!

This is a great example of a very rare and desirable investment grade classic car. Its an original factory Hi-impact Limelight color (FJ5) code with black interior, black vinyl top and black longitudinal 383 hockey stick side stripe 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda

If you are in the market for a good E body project you’ll be hard pressed to find a better starting point. While not a Hemi or 440 sixpack car this car is still quite desirable. Chrysler only built 1905 383 4bbl 4 speeds for the 1970 ‘Cuda and while no one knows exactly how many are left there is no doubt there are very few not to mention the highly desirable high impact color of Lime Light (FJ5), black bucket seat interior (H6X9), black vinyl top (V1X), Rally gauges (A62), black longitudinal tape stripe (V6X), hood pins (J45) Road lamps (L34), console (C16) and of course the iconic pistol grip 4 speed transmission (D21).
All the rust repair that this car needed has been expertly repaired with AMD panels. See pix for the progression/evolution that this car went thru. We cut out all the rusty floors, (including the under the rear seat pan) trunk, quarters, ect, (all frame rails were good) sent the car to the blaster then spent a couple hours blowing all the sand out then sprayed the entire body top to bottom with 2 coats of PPG epoxy primer (including the insides of the rear frame rails and torsion bar cross member) then fit and installed all the new sheet metal. We then sprayed the backsides of the full OE quarters and outsides of the outer wheel houses and trunk extensions with epoxy primer and the correct FJ5 Lime Light to further rust proof the car. (Something the factory didn’t even do). Backsides of quarters were also sprayed with undercoating to simulate what the factory did. We also seam sealed all the joints on trunk and floor pans same as factory did and then sprayed everything with 2 coats of the factory FJ5 Lime Light including the entire underside. The car is bullet proof now.
See the pic with all the loose parts on the ground for ALL the parts we have that are not currently attached to the car. We don’t have ANY other parts. It has a very nice original restored grill. Hood and deck lid are original pieces. All glass is present and in good shape except front and rear windshield. We cleaned and regreased the quarter glass and door glass regulators when we had the quarters off so they roll up and down real nice. We installed 2 new full OE quarters on both sides. New one piece trunk floor, trunk extensions, outer wheel houses, deck filler panel, full floor pans and LH inner fender. Both front and rear suspension was blasted at same time body was and sprayed in 2 coats of black PPG epoxy primer. Wheels are 15x7” rally wheels and used tires with lots of tread left.
There is no engine or trans but I have a correct E body 23 spline 4 speed, big block bell housing and 440 block that can be bought with the car but is not included. Rear end is the original 8-3/4” housing, axles, ect.
This car has had the first few steps of a rotisserie restoration with all the hard work done and is ready for you to take it to the next level!
