Never bern crashed.
It has some rust on the exterior body panels due to a factory sheet metal issue which was common on these cars. The frame and important components are rust-free. The car starts and drives great.
Runs and drives like a dream. Comes with all repair receipts. It has three issues - the AC doesn’t work, park sensor needs to be adjusted, and the car has rust on its sheet metal. The frame and underbody of the car is clean, but these cars had an issue with the paint where the sheet metal would rust. From 20ft away the car looks great. Up close you can see the rust. Perfect car for a student or someone who wants to have the body fixed. I’ll list out some details below:
1. Tires: brand new tires Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3 installed a couple years ago. Tires are great. The wheels come from an S600 and were installed by the original owner.
2. Air Suspension: works perfectly. I had all four air shocks, the pump, and the check valve replaced, along with some other suspension components like ball joints and control arms replaced. The car glides over bumps.
3. Brakes: brand new brake pads and rotors and a new wheel bearing installed last year. Mercedes parts only. Rear brakes are 1 years old.
4. Cooling system: works perfectly. I had the coolant flushed and had new hoses installed as a preventative measure.
5. Engine: perfect. I have the oil changed 3x a year using Mobil 1 full synthetic oil. I’ve had some seals and gaskets replaced a couple years ago. Engine is quiet and revs great. It gets 20mpg on the highway even though it’s a 5,000 pound car.
6. Transmission: shifts smoothly like a new car. I had the trans fluid flushed a couple years ago. I just had the trans cooler lines replaced as well.
7. Battery: I had a new battery installed last year. The car starts up every time.
8. Body: never been in an accident. Paint is a special Designo color. The headlights come from an S600 and are glass - they will never become foggy or faded. These were installed by the first owner.
9. Interior: seats look and feel great. All power seats, windows, sunroof, power sunshades work perfectly.
