Admin Assistant Needed – Short-Term Outreach Project (Chicago)
We’re putting together a small, fast-moving outreach project in Chicago and need someone who can keep things organized while the rest of us run around like caffeinated squirrels.
This is a 3–4 week gig, starting ASAP. If you like controlled chaos, talking to people, and being the person who actually knows what’s going on at any given moment. You’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing intake and tracking project participants (aka: knowing who’s who and what they’re doing)
Organizing and maintaining daily records and productivity reports
Preparing onboarding and hiring packets
Scheduling appointments and coordinating interviews
Conducting outreach to potential team members
Supporting day-to-day administrative needs of the project team
What we’re looking for:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Friendly, professional personality (you’ll be interacting with lots of people)
Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented under pressure
Basic computer proficiency (Google Docs/Sheets or similar)
Prior administrative, recruiting, or coordination experience preferred
The vibe:
This is not a sit-around-and-refresh-your-email kind of job. Things move quickly, plans change, and you’ll be right in the middle of it helping keep everything on track. If you’ve ever been the “glue person” on a team, that’s exactly what this is.
Details:
Short-term role (3–4 weeks)
Full-time hours with potential for overtime
Competitive weekly pay (based on experience)
In-person in Chicago
If you’re dependable, quick on your feet, and can keep things organized without losing your mind (or at least not admitting it), we want to hear from you.
To apply: Call, text or email. Do it now or you'll forget.
