Looking for a reliable local maintenance person living in or very close to the 60641 zip code ( Montrose & Cicero intersection) for a quick, recurring weekly task. This is an ongoing task.
The basic task is as follows.
On Wednesdays, Roll trash/recycling cans out to the front of the house for city pickup.
The city truck empties the cans on Thursdays.
On Thursday evening or Friday morning, Roll the empty trash/recycling cans back to their designated spot.
Once a month, rinse out the inside of the empty cans using our outdoor garden hose to keep them clean and odor-free.
It makes sense for someone who lives or works in the Portage Park/ Irving Park/ Mayfair / Albany Park area as it needs commuting twice a week, though the task self takes not much time.
The person should be reliable and physically capable of rolling the standard city trash cans every week without missing.
There are other maintenance tasks around the house such as cleaning, weeding, painting, small repairs, snow removal, regular maintenance etc. If the person is willing and capable there is possibility to make this into a larger contract with more tasks.
