Hiring Mechanical and Chemical Engineers!

Work for a rapidly growing company focused on developing new technology and process solutions for ethanol production industries in Cedar Rapids, IA!

Looking for a Project Engineer with a Mechanical or Chemical background to work on various construction and client sites.

Duties:

- Reviewing Civil/Structural/Architectural drawings and be the "go-to" person on the team for knowing the drawings inside and out.
- Understanding P&ID's
- Develop scopes of work for contractors
- Involved in all work reviews
- Help with scheduling of contractors
- Assist with CAD on occasion
- Communicate with and work closely with plant managers and contractors

Physical Requirements:

- Perform field surveys in existing ethanol plants, including climbing stairs and ladders
-Working at a computer for several hours at a time
- Attending meetings with team members and other consultants both on and off-site
-Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Qualifications:

- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Must be willing to travel 100% of the time within 6 hours of Cedar Rapids for the next 3 years
-Must be prepared to work evenings and weekends on occasion to meet project schedule deadlines
-Strong attention to details and accuracy
-Excellent communicator with internal and external customers/clients
-Maintains a high level of professionalism, productivity and effectiveness even during challenging situations with internal and external clients, vendors and contractors
-Willing to hire Entry Level Engineering Candidates!
