The Lonesome Train by the Cary-Grove High School for the 1976 Spring Choral Concert, Dana Floor director on the Mark Custom Record label #MC 8078. It is unopened, still SEALED. The Lonesome Train is a 30 minute choral presentation, telling of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the journey that carried the President’s body from Washington back to Springfield, Illinois. The story is told by a newspaper reporter tracing the route of the train across America and exploring the strange rumor that Lincoln was not dead at all, but alive and out among his people; at a black church in Alabama, at a square dance on the Kansas prairie, in an army hospital ward, in the waiting crowd at the Springfield depot. We presently I only accept cash, checks, Postal Money Orders, Western Union, Zelle, the Cash App and Chase Quickpay. Media mail shipping and handling will be $8 within the continental US.
