condition: excellent
media type: vinyl
This is a meticulously curated collection of desirable classical titles from the cello, violin, piano, and chamber music repertoire. There will be a segment of modern, contemporary, experimental and avant-garde issues, imports, and obscure albums.

Mostly stereo albums in near mint to mint vinyl condition. The covers will be mostly VG+ to EX+, some will have price stickers or past library stickers that can be removed reliably with a sticker removing product.

Most of the preeminent 19th and 20th century solo performers will be featured: Fournier, Tortelier, Starker, Casals, Piatigorsky, du Pré, Harrell, Ricci, Szeryng, Szigeti, Heifetz, Grumiaux, Milstein, Morini, Oistrakh, Kogan (on a rare USSR 78), Spivakov, and many others including a number of obscure artists and composers and famous 20th century string quartets.

Specifically: all three albums of the sought-after LP set of Pierre Fournier playing the Bach suites for solo cello, a Janos Starker collection, a Grumiaux collection, a nice Ruggiero Ricci collection (including a very valuable UK stereo original of him playing the Sibelius violin concerto), a Janos Starker collection, an Ansermet collection, a deep Glenn Gould collection, a deep Quartertto Italiano collection, a deep Kempff collection, etc., etc.

Hardly any orchestral or opera.

The albums are worth $10-$50 each for the most part with a number of much more valuable ones.

The records are in Florida and I can ship or we can make other arrangements.
