Core Responsibilities
Dishwashing: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
Cleaning and Organizing: Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, including equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas.
Sanitation: Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines and clean all kitchen surfaces and equipment.
Trash and Recycling: Empty and clean trash cans and dispose of trash and recycling properly.
Additional Duties
Stocking: Put away clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their proper storage locations.
Receiving and Storage: Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
Food Preparation: Help with basic food prep tasks as needed.
Maintenance: Report any issues with dishwashing machines, equipment, or the overall sanitation of the kitchen to a supervisor.
Closing tasks: Assist with closing duties, such as cleaning and sanitizing kitchen stations.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
Requirements:
