Matilda is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team on Sundays.
Shift: Sundays, approximately 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: 3101 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago (Lakeview)
Matilda is a neighborhood bar and grille that has been owner-operated since 1993. We have a loyal local following, a welcoming atmosphere, and a hands-on ownership team that values hospitality and professionalism.
About the Position
Solo bartending shift for most of the day
Typical earnings of $200-$400 per Sunday (hourly wage + tips)
Established neighborhood clientele
Opportunity for additional shifts as needed
Mix of bar guests, dining guests, sports fans, and event traffic
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has previous bartending experience
Is dependable and punctual
Can confidently handle a bar on their own
Provides friendly, professional service
Works well with servers, kitchen staff, and management
Takes pride in creating a great guest experience
Requirements
Bartending experience
Illinois BASSET certification (or ability to obtain)
Weekend availability
