Williams Inn Pizza & Sports Bar – South Loop Chicago
Williams Inn Pizza & Sports Bar is currently hiring EXPERIENCED BARTENDERS to join our growing team. We are revamping our operation and looking for strong, dependable, hospitality-driven professionals who understand high-volume service, cleanliness, organization, teamwork, and guest experience.
This is NOT an entry-level bartending position. We are looking for bartenders who take pride in their craft, move with urgency, understand standards, and know how to operate in a busy sports bar environment.
LOCATION:
2210 S. Michigan Ave – South Loop Chicago
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years bartending experience preferred
• Nights, weekends, and holiday availability REQUIRED
• High-volume sports bar experience is a plus
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask under pressure during busy game days and events
• Illinois BASSET Certification REQUIRED
• Illinois Food Handler Certification REQUIRED
• Must understand sanitation, food safety, cross-contamination prevention, and proper handling/storage procedures
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift kegs, cases, ice, and supplies as needed
WE USE:

• MicroSale POS System
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Preparing and serving beverages consistently and accurately
• Providing fast, friendly, professional guest service
• Properly setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, organized workstation at all times
• Cleaning and sanitizing coolers, beer wells, speed rails, drains, sinks, soda guns, and all bar equipment
• Cleaning open-face drains and maintaining sanitary work conditions throughout the shift
• Properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing garnishments, juices, syrups, mixers, and refrigerated items
• Maintaining proper sanitation standards for fruit preparation, garnishments, glassware, and bar tools
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures while handling food and beverages from the kitchen and bar
• Maintaining clean ice bins, storage areas, refrigeration units, and prep stations
• Rotating stock and monitoring inventory levels
• Maintaining clean glassware and bar tools at all times
• Understanding liquor accountability and minimizing waste/spillage
• Following all alcohol service laws and recognizing intoxicated guests
• Assisting with barback duties, food running, bussing, and teamwork when needed
• Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintaining professionalism during high-volume sporting events and late-night business
