About the Role
Stay 424 is hiring an experienced Hostel Manager / Innkeeper to oversee daily operations across our hospitality properties in Chicago.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands hospitality, can lead operations without constant oversight, and knows how to maintain a strong guest experience while keeping the property running efficiently.
We are not looking for someone to simply “work shifts.”
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the operation.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily hostel operations and guest experience
Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest communication
Coordinate housekeeping and maintain cleanliness standards
Monitor occupancy, pricing, and booking platforms
Handle maintenance issues and vendor coordination
Ensure rooms and shared spaces remain organized and operational
Help lead and support staff across multiple locations
Requirements
Hospitality, hostel, hotel, Airbnb, or property management experience required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
Valid driver’s license required (you will travel between locations)
