The Position: Sous Chef

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year*

Corner Table Restaurants is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at The Smith. The Smith serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner featuring a selection of farm fresh, familiar and creative bistro dishes using local, natural and sustainable ingredients.

  • Performs precise line checks to ensure kitchen is ready for service
  • Assists in training and collaborating with other back-of-house team members in order to consistently meet quality, speed, and health standards
  • Assist with daily facility walk-through to ensure cleanliness and safety procedures are followed
  • Upholding the highest standards of food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests
  • Assists with running high volume service as an expeditor or at times floating behind the line to ensure food quality, timing, and presentation is up to CTR standards
  • Overseeing and ensuring that all company systems and policies are always maintained
  • Manages all quality aspects in the kitchen
  • Teach Corner Table Restaurants Core Values to all new hires and existing team

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
