Weber's Bakery, located on the southwest side, is one of Chicago's oldest and finest retail bakeries. We are currently looking to add a skilled baker to our team.
Responsibilities include:
-Working with a team to produce sweetrolls, coffeecakes, kolacky, and other pastries
-Making doughs and mixing fillings according to our recipes
-Frying and icing doughnuts
-Following and upholding all health department codes and procedures
We are looking for a Baker who has the following traits:
-Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
-Punctual , neat, and reliable
-Willing and able to work as part of a team in a high-volume, physical environment
-Flexibility to ramp up production in dealing with high holiday demand for products
-Physically capable of lifting 50# ingredient bags, moving large bowls, and being on one's feet for 8+ hours at a time
Weekly hours for this shift will be Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Sunday hours are on a rotational basis and are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Hours may be slightly adjusted depending on job duties.
