Job Title: Farmers Market Associate or/and Butcher Shop & Deli Sales Associate 

Terms: full/Part time

Wage: Hourly/Based on experience

Treats de Cuisine is a Chicago-based cat and dog treat company sourcing from our friends at local

farms and helping with zero farm waste to deliver sustainable, natural, and tail-wagging treats for our

four-legged friends.

About the Position:

Our Sales Associate will be directly involved in customer service at the butcher shop & deli. Sales associates

should be well versed on all our various treats and be able to convey our message and what we

believe in to our clients and most importantly love dogs!

Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients and their pets when they arrive at the shop
• Stock and maintain pars on all stocked items within the shop
• Maintain cleanliness of deli case, sales counter, bathroom, and guest area
• Introducing sales specials and events to clients
• Package dehydrated products according to standards
• Ability to field client questions regarding pets well being/allergies
• Knowledge of POS systems and how to manage guest transactions

Candidate requirements:

• Retail sales experience
• Maintain positive attitude and appearance
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Can stand for long periods of time

The Market Worker will be responsible for:

• Having general knowledge of products 
• Offering samples to owner to give to their pet 
• Restocking as needed through out the market.
• Be able to lift 50lbs.
• Breaking down the maket booth and packing everything up correcty at the end
• of the market.
• Beginning and ending inventory counts 
• Staying in the market booth during peak times 

Applicant Profile:

*Friendly and a willing attitude to learn and interact with people.

*Have good basic math skills for counting change.

Work Environment:This farmers market is an outside market, and it does run rain

or shine. You will be standing the duration of the market.
