Solid wood construction.
This piece consists of two cabinets that are designed to have a fully functional computer station inside. The top cabinet slides onto and is screwed onto the top of the bottom cabinet. Because it is two pieces, it is easier to move than if it were one single large piece.
When open, the doors fold out of sight on the sides.
Includes a solid oak, cushioned chair that can be completely rolled into the lower cabinet when the doors are closed to save space.
The backs of both units have ports for cords to pass through.
The lower unit has a power surge-protector switch panel that has controls to turn on/off the monitor, computer, printer, and an auxiliary device.
There is a light mounted on the ceiling of the top unit.
The top unit has speakers within built-in compartments behind speaker covers which are held on with velcro for easy removal.
There is a keyboard shelf as wide as the desk surface, which is on slides so it can be pulled out and retracted back under the desk to increase the usable desk space.
There is a sliding shelf in the lower cabinet for a printer/scanner. The shelf is on drawer slides so the shelf can be pulled out and pushed in for easy access to the printer/scanner.
The chair has a cushioned back that folds down when not in use for easy storage within the lower cabinet.
The bottom piece is 48 inches wide by 26 inches deep by 30.25 inches tall. The top piece is 46.5 inches wide by 23 inches deep by 42.75 inches tall. So, both units together are 73 inches tall.
