Martz, arguably the most iconic lamp makers of mid century designers and it's easy to see why. Beautiful materials and quality construction make for timeless design. Most importantly, the handmade aesthetic of ceramic and tiles lend them in intrinsic individuality, This lamp in. particualar is made of solid walnut. It's been sanded down a refinished top to bottom. Nothing ages like walnut. Sorry teak and rosewood but the figure of the walnut seen here in this lamp is unmatched. Don't get me started on the price. This collectible icon is listed way below retail. Feel free to research for yourself.
