We are hiring a hotel cleaner to help maintain our rooms, dorms, bathrooms, and common areas.
This is primarily a cleaning position with additional responsibility for making sure the hostel is clean, organized, functional, and ready for guests. You must be willing and able to clean alongside the team—not just supervise.
Responsibilities
Personally clean guest rooms, dorms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
Lead and organize the cleaning team
Inspect rooms before guest check-in
Make beds and replace linens and towels
Handle laundry and restock supplies
Remove garbage and keep storage areas organized
Replace batteries in remotes, locks, and other devices
Check that Wi-Fi, televisions, lights, locks, and appliances are working
Report maintenance issues immediately
Help guests with basic questions and concerns
Make sure the property looks presentable throughout the day
Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low
Requirements
Must speak Spanish
Must be able to clean quickly and thoroughly
Previous hotel, hostel, Airbnb, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
Comfortable leading other cleaners
Reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Able to lift laundry, supplies, and light furniture
Comfortable working weekends and holidays when scheduled
Must take ownership of the property and correct problems without waiting to be told
