We are looking for a hands-on Guest Experience Manager to help keep our creative hospitality spaces clean, sharp, safe, and guest-ready every day.
This is not just a cleaning job. This is for someone who takes pride in the details and wants to grow into a real operations role.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will help make sure the building looks right, feels right, and works right.
Responsibilities include:
Daily cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and guest spaces
Making sure rooms and shared areas are guest-ready
Taking out trash and keeping the property organized
Restocking supplies, paper goods, soap, towels, and cleaning products
Making sure signs are up, clean, and visible
Checking that TVs, WiFi, locks, lights, and basic building items are working
Changing locks or coordinating lock changes when needed
Reporting maintenance issues before they become bigger problems
Helping with room turnovers and guest check-in readiness
Walking the property daily and fixing small issues on the spot
Keeping the space clean, presentable, and professional
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone reliable, sharp, and hands-on.
You should be:
Proud of clean, organized spaces
Comfortable cleaning and doing light facilities work
Able to notice details without being told
Dependable and on time
Good with guests and staff
Comfortable working independently
Willing to learn our systems
Not afraid to roll up your sleeves
Hotel, hostel, Airbnb, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, or property management experience is a plus — but attitude and follow-through matter most.
Pay
Starting pay is $17.05/hour.
After the first month, pay can increase based on performance, reliability, and how much responsibility you can take on.
Show us you can own the role, and we will increase the pay.
Optional Discounted Housing
A discounted bed may be available for the right person.
Housing is optional and can be discussed separately. If used, the discounted bed arrangement must be agreed to in writing.
Schedule
Part-time or full-time available depending on fit.
Some weekend availability may be needed because this is a hospitality business.
Location
Chicago — Wicker Park / West Town / Grand Avenue area.
