Spincycle Laundromat is looking for a part time driver to work from 8:30am to 11:30am, Monday through Friday and weekends as needed. More hours may be available in the future.
The Delivery Driver's primary role is to safely, professionally, and efficiently pick up and deliver our customer's laundry/ dry cleaning to and from their location while providing amazing customer interaction.
## MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Delivery Drivers should constantly be aware of their surroundings in order to represent the Company in a positive light.
Being in a customer facing position, their appearance and demeanor are of the utmost importance.
## MINOR JOB DESCRIPTION
- Utilize laundry count form effectively to confirm that all bundles are on the appropriate truck for their route. - Organize and load delivery vehicles on their own with minimal supervision.
- Be able to follow Google Maps GPS app on your phone and in conjunction with our partner software providers tools and resources. .
- Perform basic roadside assistance functions in a safe manner.
- Actively and Professionally deal with upset customers in person.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times..
- Check in and out multiple customer orders along with proper inspection of packaging and tagging in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
We require our drivers to be mature drivers with clean driving record.
Must have reliable/timely, have good people skills, a can do attitude, conservative appearance, be a safe driver, and enjoy a job with freedom and independence.
KEY COMPETENCIES
-Safe Driving Record
-Ability to utilize and perform duties within the driver app.
-Basic Computer Skills
-Reasonable Troubleshooting Skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to safely operate our company provided cargo vans.
- Must be able to physically lift laundry bags weighing up to 50lbs in weight.
- Must be able to traverse front sidewalks, yards, porches and in some cases multiple flights of stairs while carrying bundles of laundry.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
