We own and manage apartment buildings in Chicago and are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician who can handle day-to-day repairs and help keep properties clean and well maintained. What You'll Do:
• Complete maintenance work orders in occupied apartments
• Basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting & repairs
• Appliance troubleshooting and replacement
• Prepare apartments for new residents (unit turnovers)
• Maintain common areas and building systems
• Keep trash & recycling areas clean and organized
• Pick up litter and help keep properties looking clean
• Assist with snow & ice removal during winter months
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Help respond to urgent maintenance issues when needed
This role includes both repairs and general property upkeep, so we’re looking for someone hands-on and proactive.
Who We're Looking For:
• Previous apartment or building maintenance experience is required
• Comfortable handling general repair work independently
• Shows up on time and ready to work
• Professional and respectful with residents
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders when needed
• Must have reliable personal vehicle
• Looking for steady, long-term work
