Oak Rentals is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to handle residential property maintenance and emergency service calls. This role is ideal for someone experienced in general repairs who can respond quickly to after-hours issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work in residential properties
- Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants
- Ensure all work is completed safely and up to standard
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing
- Must be dependable and responsive for after-hours calls
- Must reside on or near the West Side of Chicago (preferred for quick response time)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic tools required to complete maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
Compensation
-$30.00 per hour (1099 contractor position)
