We are seeking a experienced and skilled Pallet Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. As a Pallet Manufacturing Technician, you play the most crucial role in the production process - it’s your responsibility to manufacture high-quality pallets, quickly and safely. You will work as a team with your fellow technicians and supervisors to maintain quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools to assemble and repair pallets according to specifications.
Perform quality checks on pallets throughout the manufacturing process to make sure that they meet company and customer requirements.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Production Requirements:
Building NEW Pallets: Minimum of 300 pallets per day
Repairing + remanufacturing pallets: Minimum of 400 pallets per day
Cutting Boards: Minimum of 800 Boards
Dismantling Pallets: Minimum of 400 Pallets
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a pallet manufacturing facility or similar environment.
Physical ability to pick-up, manipulate, and move pallets weighing up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to stand and walk throughout your 8-10 hour shift.
Ability to work in a loud, variable temperature environment around hazardous machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively.
Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
