I prefer tutoring college Algebra, Precalc and Intro to Statistics.
I don't travel for tutoring usually but since I have more free time this month I can meet you at coffee shops close to you if you are within 2 miles from my location.
Usually, I meet at coffee shops around Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, and West Town for tutoring. Online tutoring is the another option.
Graduated with Masters degree from DePaul University. I teach high school math and possess Illinois State Teaching License (PEL). I have been tutoring Math to College and High School students for over 8 years now.
I can help you with Statistics, Probability, Pre-Calc, Geometry, Algebra, Finite and Discrete Math. Also, I can help students prepare Math subset of tests like GED, GRE, ASBAV, ACT, SAT, TAP, Praxis, etc.
I am great at explaining mathematical concepts and also good helping develop a solid procedural fluency and problem solving skills.
I find helping others to achieve their academic goals, very satisfying. I am very emphatic, patient and can work with students of all ages. I like learning and understanding connection between different aspects of any subject, for instance connection between algebra, geometry and arithmetic and how they compliment each other. I believe tutoring helps me see that connection and also make me realize why I am learning what I am learning which in turn helps me explain students why and how what they are learning is relevant and interesting.
