Linder Legal Staffing is a staffing and placement firm that works with top law firms in Chicago. LLS has been asked by two, top national law firm based in Chicago to help those firms fill two, key marketing support positions.
The first is a Business Development Coordinator (BDC) position. Responsible for providing support to the firm's Business Development professionals in a variety of marketing and business development efforts. This includes generating early drafts of pitch materials, presentations, proposal outlines and other materials as needed. This individual will provide coordination and oversight of key business development initiatives, projects and databases, in addition to providing support in proofreading and editing documents, as well as oversight and quality control on printing and binding needs, among others. This position will help maintain and update accurate practice literature and lawyer biographies, and will provide assistance in drafting/editing submissions for various surveys, while also tracking deadlines. Additional responsibilities include firm sponsorship coordination and event planning, including issuance and tracking of invitations, attendee lists, corporate business development targeting, event wrap-up, and debrief activities. The Coordinator will also handle special projects as requested.
The second spot is titled: Multimedia Marketing Coordinator (MMC). The MMC will support the firm's marketing initiatives including writing, editing and production of marketing communication materials - both online and print, including advertisements, e-newsletters, e-Alerts and e-invitations; updating and maintaining firm website and other online initiatives, blog(s), e-marketing; providing basic design support and/or work with outside designers; and assisting with firm marketing events and accompanying printed materials. Will create effective graphic concepts and execution as they relate to the scope of work. Will develop effective print collateral and advertising (as required). Meet with designers, vendors, technical staff and internal clients on projects and collaborate on technical specifications and deadlines. Will design customized materials for client needs. Maintain the firm's media library and assist with day-to-day design-related requests. Will manage graphic and communications projects. Will integrate text and graphics into the design of new and existing print and web marketing materials. Have the ability to work with internal and external clients, prioritize and juggle multiple projects as well as work under tight deadlines. Will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and documentation abilities.
