In this EXCLUSIVE, PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP you will learn how to maintain, diagnose and repair a modern diesel engine. You will personally assist in the complete teardown and rebuild of a Yanmar diesel engine commonly found in modern auxiliary sailboats.
Session I. Under the guidance of professional marine mechanic, you will completely remove each engine component and examine it for condition and wear. You will learn how each part works in conjunction with all other components. More, you will develop the skills to make repairs.
Session II . Here you will completely reassemble the newly machined engine to factory specifications. Your professional mechanic will guide you through the process of assembly and provide all necessary tools and time-saving tips. Your success will be announced loudly when the engine springs to life before you.
By the end of this workshop you will have learned all the skills needed to ensure that this engine will perform properly for many thousands of hours.
