Advance Automation Company is a Chicago-based privately-held cylinder manufacturer founded in 1960. The company supports the sales and service of its product line through a nationwide network of distributors, who sell mainly to OEM end users.
We are seeking a full-time General Laborer to play a vital role in our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Cutting aluminum tubes to length, and facing the ends
• Operating basic machinery, such as drill presses and lathes
• Washing machined parts
• Providing support for other departments and areas as needed
• Performing physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials to designated areas
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment when required
Requirements:
• Willingness to learn our systems
• Works well with others in the organization; must be a team player
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Compensation Package:
$17/hour (review after 30 days)
