We are currently seeking a Waterjet / CNC Operator at our Chicago facility. Our company offers medical/dental, 401K + match, paid holidays, paid vacation.
The ideal candidate will have two or more years experience.
Fabricates glass to the specification requested by the customer, and programs geometric dimensions into the computer based on work orders received. Attention to detail is a MUST.
Waterjet / CNC Operator Machinist Job Duties:
• Executes machining per provided work orders and schedule
• Programs Waterjet / CNC milling, drafts parts in CAD software
• Sets tooling, tool and cutting speeds
• Verifies all part dimensions prior to and post milling
• Maintains safe operations
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Documents completed work and communicates with other departments
Other duties as required, everyone pitches in everywhere
Waterjet / CNC Operator Qualifications :
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Must be able to lift 75lbs unassisted.
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to communicate as a member of a team.
Must be able to follow instruction.
Strong mathematical background is preferred.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
