This is a 1974 Fender Telecaster with some upgrades/modifications. Price is firm at $2500, not looking for trades.

I acquired this guitar recently and had a refret done at Chicago Fret Works. They're up there with the best in the city and are very good with vintage necks/fret work. In addition to the fret work, they did a full setup, and installed a new bone nut. The last image is the invoice detailing the work. The guitar is playing and sounding great after getting it back.

Here are the details on the guitar:

- Bridge has been updated to a Wilkinson bridge with three-barrel compensated saddles
- Pots have been replaced
- Switching has been updated to 4-way switching
- As mentioned, has been refretted and new bone nut added.
- I don't think the pickups are original. I bought the guitar from a reputable store and was told they are. But, they look very clean to me for 50+ year pickups. Whatever they are, they sound very good.

Guitar has plenty of wear on the neck and body. Very playable still and the neck feels great. Despite the wear, it doesn’t look bad for the age.

Weight is 8.5 lbs.

This is a very cool 50+ year old Tele that looks and plays great. If you're interested, come by and try it out and see if its for you. I had all the work it needed done already, so its 100% ready to rock (or country).

Comes with non-original hardshell case with some wear but fully functional.
