Fantastic drum overhead, acoustic guitar, piano mics. They have a very balanced sound, and while they definitely have a detailed high frequency capture, they do not come off as bright and strident as the current production model.
Please note that, being condenser microphones, these require +48V phantom power from your mic preamp/interface/mixer.
