I am the original owner. Bought it new. Needed it for one project, then this sat in my studio for years and was eventually put in storage. Recently pulled it back out because after many years I needed to get to the tapes from that one project, from so many years ago. Backed that up to WAV file with a few other tapes for clients, and now I have no further need for this machine.
To my surprise, the unit functioned flawlessly when pulled out of storage, but I STILL had it serviced to make sure everything was properly cleaned, lubricated, and is running well. In particular, the IDLER WHEEL and the TACHOMETER have been cleaned and lubricated; these are the two main points of failure on these units, and they're both looking good and working well.
I am aware of the going rate for ADAT XT machines, but am asking a little more for this one because:
(1) it only has 290 hours on it! See the second photo (the one with fingers visible, pushing the buttons needed to make the "0290" appear on the display).
(2) it comes with the original manual and remote. I also have the original box but it's a bit dusty.
(3) it is clean clean clean. See photos of the exterior AND THE INTERIOR! It looks new.
If you are looking for an ADAT XT, you're not going to do much better. This is the one you want.
Thanks for looking!
PS - I also have a PROCO ACCU LINK AC16 snake, nine-foot, 16-channel , with TRS 1/4" on one end and Elco on the other end. This is suitable for use with this machine. Selling that separately, see my other listings. if you don't see it, it is gone.
