Bison drums specialized in making very high end symphonic snare drums. They are rare as they are no longer in production. Most of them that are still listed online for sale have already been sold.
I believe the shell is 10 ply maple. This drum has been used in mostly rock and jazz settings over the years that I've had it.
It's super loud and sounds great in both live and recording situations.
The new list price on it was $1100
I'm asking for $900.
There are a few dings and marks on the outer finish, but it sounds great and does not affect the sound or functionality of the drum. All the parts are in working order.
I put a brand new batter side Emperor X head on it.
