This is a 2021 Custom Shop ‘59 Journeyman finish Telecaster in Lake Placid Blue.
Asking $3000. Not looking for any trades.
A few things set this guitar apart. It’s a “Wildwood 10”, which means it was made for the well known Wildwood Guitar Shop and has a 10” neck radius. Wildwood is known for getting great Custom Shop guitars. It is labeled by them as “Ultra light”. On my scale it weights 5 lbs, 10 oz. It’s literally the lightest guitar I’ve ever picked up. Finally, pickups have been swapped out for Don Mare Zep-O-Tone live bridge/neck pickup. These sound incredible and go for $400+ EACH. (You can verify that with a quick search for “Don Mare” on Reverb.)
Guitar is a really cool Lake Place Blue and has a dark brown wood neck, which looks beautiful. Journeyman finish so there is some dings and relic-ing from the factory. Playing part of the neck has had finish removed at the factory. Saddles have been swapped for compensated brass saddles, original threaded saddles included.
Guitar has had “the works” setup by Chicago Fret Works in the last few months ($200+ setup that addresses everything.)
All specs are in spec sheet included in the pics.
Comes with original Custom Shop case + case candy. Ashtray bridge, strap, CoA, etc. There is no binder like is sometimes included with the CoA.
