Cosmetic Condition: Very Good Condition with part of the logo missing, heavy fading of the print on the control plate and various light bumps and bruises. Overall condition of the amp is an 8 out of 10.
The amp comes with a canvas cover that looks like it's from the correct era but is just short of going the full height of the amp so it may not be original to the amp. The separate cover has some water staining.
Description:
Here's an absolutely great little combo amp from the best era of Gibson amps..This little tone kicker responds and sounds a lot like a Tweed Fender from the same era that will run you about 3 to 4 times as much this amp.
Warm but articulate, with a forward midrange and clear top end that never gets ice-picky and a light natural compression that will make you lose track of time as you play away. Oh yeah, and the on-board square-wave tremolo is straight up bewitching.
