Knif Vari Mu II Mastering Compressor - $3,500 (Chicago)

It's an amazing mastering compressor I have used for years, and I am only selling because I am liquidating my studio. It has a sort of 'noble' sound that softens the very top of the range, tightening up the low end, while bringing detail forward in the midrange.
New Matched Tubes were ordered from Jonte Knif and installed in early 2024. They typically last me 3-5 years or so. He still supports these units and has many more in stock if you should need a replacement set. I also have a print copy of the manual that contains product and maintenance info.
There is some minor rack rash and some small scratches on the top (see photos), but is in overall excellent condition and measures perfectly.
This unit is very big and heavy, it's double wrapped with extra strength bubble wrap, and suspended in packing peanuts in a large box, ready to ship.
