Skinny stick badge, original to the drum
Rail consolette original to the drum
6 ply; a very early 6ply

Wrap was a midnight blue pearl that was long gone and was then professionally removed &
shell then sanded smooth; some glue marks on the underside and minor cosmetic discolorations here and there.
No rash or dings, very clean and clean looking shell
Edges are in wonderful original condition.
Original era correct L arm included.
Hoops have been professionally repainted and inlay channel also sanded smooth and are original to the drum.
Original lugs needing replacing; I did so with other later era vintage Gretsch usa lugs and backing screws that I had available (I did oil thread ends fwiw)
Lugs are in beautiful condition.
T's and claws are in beautiful condition(one claw has some minor chrome loss) and are original to the drum
L arm cymbal bracket 50s era and original to the drum
Spurs and legs original to the drum, yes the aluminum spurs are the 50s style.
I'm including two rail consolette keys AND a twin cities drum collective bass hoop protective rubber sleeve as they are the best.
This is one of those drums that had a bent spring in a lug with a seized t-rod in it with and cracked wrap that likely sat for decades unplayed.....kind of a rare bass drum considering what it it.
It's in excellent condition and really needs to be played.
New batter side Remo pinstripe bass head and a new remo coated Ambassador with a port installed and a new Gretsch rta logo on the resonant front side.
I have it in a 14x20 humes and berg drum seeker drum bag which will likely be included
Drum is ready for a re-wrap or just leave it as is.
No extra holes
I'm only showing that 8x12 that had the wrap removed etc for continuity; I'd like to keep that at this time. We can chat but I'm sure you can find an 8x12 with shot wrap or not.
I have a wrap removed black lacquer 14x20 round badge 6ply I'm keeping.
If You want somebody's 14x20 progressive jazz bass drum for 500 I'm sure you'll find one that's in less condition without an L-arm etc
I'm asking market rate for this one.
$1495 with bag, L arm, new heads extras etc (Yes I think less than a grand is too low ☆♡)
If I'm toooo low I'll readjust.
I'm in Chicago, local cash buyer pickup encouraged. *buyer pays shipping.
