Original USA mount bracket; yes that may be a Tama wing screw as it functions excellent with smooth unstripped threads and it came to me that way, not uncommon as switching out the Gretsch wing screw immediately is ultra common for all the obvious reasons.
Jasper shell *(Jasper Furniture Co Indiana supplied Gretsch with their Maple Gum Shells from the mid-late 1950s all the way through the early 2000s)
No different than a Round Badge era drum and with a better finish and less cumbersome issues that go along with round badge era drums.
Happy to send more pics with the heads off. Drum is always in a drum bag and has seen minimal playing time and no gigs.

I've had this drum for a long time.
Yes the drum is near mint but shows signs of being a drum that has been played so please expect that as it's showroom but not unused.
If you want a collection piece for home studio or gigs or your closet this is it.
Highly doubt that you would be disappointed.
There weren't many of these 18s made during this badge or era and not in this finish.
A highly coveted drum. Beautiful condition throughout and all around.
