YES FOLKS, what you see here is a Bradley explorer made in (and directly imported from) the FujiGen Gakki factory in the mid-70’s (74-77) by Veneman’s Music Emporium in Rockville, Md.
The Bradley line was then sold through Veneman’s Music Emporium Catalog. This Bradley explorer features a neck-through one piece mahogany body and rosewood fretboard with gold hardware. The body is 24.75” in length, with c-shape neck profile and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
As advertised in their catalog “Not only do we have the most complete selection of American made guitars at the lowest discount prices, but we also bring you the best from overseas! By importing in large quantities, we have the advantage of eliminating the importer and the distributor, and can offer you the finest quality instruments at the lowest possible prices. BRADLEY electric guitars and basses are faithful reproductions of the finest brand names in America. You will find that these are the same instruments you see advertised under a different name!”
This guitar is in immaculate condition AND comes with case! The sound and playability of the Bradley line shows why Veneman’s statement about these guitars is 100% true. The Japanese-made guitars were imported from the early ‘70’s until the mid- 80’s then discontinued until the late ‘90’s, when they began to get sourced from Korea. Since the Japanese-made Bradley’s were discontinued, they have grown in collectability yearly. Local pickup but willing to ship. Buyer to pay S/H.
