This is a fully functional, rock solid snare case. It has had plenty of use on the road, but it will certainly still last for many years to come. The buckle clip is fully functional too. The initials J.M. are painted on the side. It seems to have flame retardant material on the inside. I also have plenty of other cases if you are interested.
