If you're looking at this, then you know how rare and cool this effect is. Google it - there is plenty written about it. The unit over-all is in great working condition. Was fully gone over by a professional tech. It looks amazing and sounds incredible.
As the RO-1 itself is in great shape, the case is a tad beat up.. but every example I've seen online seems to have the same thing going on with the case. Although beat up..it's done it's job over the years and protected this gem.
Obviously, the foot switch and expression pedal are not original but everything else is ( the case and stand).
The 2 button footswitch will activate the RO-1's speaker and activate another amp if you would like to engage the "instrument out". Meaning you can run both the RO-1 and another amp at the same time or each independently.
The Yamaha Expression pedal will control the RO-1's speed.
You can operate the RO-1 without either pedals. You need to stick in a dummy plug ( included with sale) to the "Rover" input and you can manually adjust the speed controls on top of the unit.
The Rover is quiet, clean pots and connections. These are becoming increasingly rare and don't come up very often. I have it listed on Reverb but because the Rover is somewhat delicate I'd much rather prefer an in person transaction.
I am in South central WI but would be willing to make the trip or preferably meet in Rockford. ( we can work something out I'm sure)
