I am retired after many years of programming various types of embedded real-time systems (avionics, medical, consumer electronics, etc).
One of my last projects was programming this device as both a modbus "server" and SDI-12 "sensor" (able to do both simultaneously).
Since there seems to be a growing need for environmental monitoring, I decided to pursue this and developed generic SDI-12 sensor code that can be easily adapted for new sensors.
If you have sensors that you need to be able to read with an SDI-12 "recorder" - especially if you need the sensor(s) to be 100% compatible with the SDI-12 spec - I'm here to help.
